How was last season in the snowboard market?
It felt like we had some magic conditions for part of the season but globally we were a bit snow challenged which impacted board sales at retail and resulted in some excess inventory across the industry. Early season snow this year has helped retailers move through their inventory and things are looking good.
With the recent overall price increases, have there been any positive developments in manufacturing, sourcing, or logistics?
Roxy boards have always been gently priced and we continuing to provide amazing Mervin designed performance at nice prices.
What are the major trends you’re seeing with product pricing in the snowboard market?
In general prices have been moving upward. Roxy has remained flat to last year.
E-commerce Vs. physical retail, how are you balancing both channels?
Mervin and Roxy Snowboards is focused on core retail with a small percentage being sold on line.
How are you supporting retailers to sell this category?
Roxy’s marketing campaigns are focused around Gold medal Olympian Chloe Kim and the team ripping and looking great in our white winter wonderland.
What unique brand messages are you focusing on for the 2025/2026 snowboard season?
Roxy’s design team is tapped into global fashion trends. The Roxy board graphics are led by their overall brand print and art directions and linked to their outer wear lines. The Smoothie ties to their freeride minded Gore line. Chloe’s XOXO model is tied to her sporty collection.

What trends or developments are you seeing with regards to board construction, shapes, and general innovation? How is this shaping your 25/26 range?
Roxy is focused on versatile, easy riding shapes and contours.
Anything new concerning sustainability and related products or construction you would like to highlight?
The XOXO designed by Chloe is and is made at Mervin MFG and features our eco sublimation process, zero hazardous waste, sustainably harvested wood cores all powered by 90% renewable energy.
Are you using any new materials in your hardware for 25/26? If so, what and why? We’re interested in anything new in inserts / edges / cores / sidewalls / glue / resin/ wood types / base material / top sheet / wax / etc..
We are constantly improving our Mervin Facility and this year we have added a new finishing facility with state of the art water filtration, new tuning equipment an fast easy riding finish.
Any new design or pattern approaches in your 25/26 gear? Any collabs on the line?
