What is the overall theme behind your 2024/25 outerwear range? From which big trends do you take your inspiration?
The Roxy Snow range is thoughtfully crafted, featuring a mainline boasting two captivating merchandising color stories. Complementing this, our capsules are tailored to diverse consumer preferences. For the core consumer, we introduce a fresh take on an active, relaxed fit, infused with contemporary street trends. Catering to the discerning alpine skier, our capsules showcase snug fits paired with hyper-feminine aesthetics. The seamless merchandising alignment between the mainline and capsules ensures a cohesive brand presentation. Geared towards the more expert consumer, these capsules offer specialized choices, enhancing the overall Roxy Snow experience. I would like to highlight our ROXY LIFE caspule. This tomboy, 90’s trend capsule where everything is about the attitude. Design are taken from our SNOW & SURF archives. We gave a modern update and the result is a masculine retro sport look with feminine details. Our cheeky Roxy girl will be ripping at the park.
What new fits / silhouettes are coming out in 2024/25? What pant and jacket styles are most important in your range?
In our ongoing pursuit of style, we’ve embraced the relaxed fit trend for our parkas and introduced more baggy pants into our range. Two standout capsules embody this trend: our co-designed capsule with Chloe Kim, bringing her unique perspective to the design. We are not compromising on any of our pillars with this capsule: comfort with our Primaloft branded insulation, sustainable initiatives & style. A soft ornamental floral print is contrasting against strong unisex silhouettes taking the form of a Regular Long Fit parka #CHLOE KIM PARKA & an oversized anorak #CHLOE KIM ANORAK and relaxed fit pants #CHLOE KIM PANT. We love our tonal buttercream outfit with subtle pops of butterfly including the #HIGHRIDGE HOODIE JK & the relaxed fit STEEPLY PT.
What new colours / prints are you introducing?
Injecting a burst of vibrancy into our collection, we’ve introduced a sporty pop butterfly color, infusing a refreshing energy throughout the range. While prints remain a crucial element ingrained in our DNA, they assume a nuanced role, stepping back from dominance. Embracing abstract prints, we strike a balance that celebrates both subtlety and individuality within our designs.
Any *NEW* technical stories with regards to fabrics and materials?
We are dedicated to integrating sustainable practices into every design, focusing on recycled and natural yarn, water comsuption, energy use & minimizing ecotoxicity. While the industry is gradually embracing sustainable standard, we are pleased with the strides we have made with our Roxy Snow products. Our ongoing commitment includes efforts to further elevate the use of recycled fibers. A notable achievement is the introduction of a new recycled derived entirely from textile waste, embodying our commitment to innovation. Notably, half of our outerwear collection now incorporates this 100% recycled yarn, making a significant milestone on our journey toward a more sustainable future.
What are your top marketing stories for 2024/25? (This will help us to put some focus in the right place.)
Boundless Snow – Reinforce ROXY’s technical Snow credibility by highlighting: innovative materials and advanced technical features to support the core freeriders needs, including ski touring specific outfits.
Chloe Kim Signature collection– ROXY celebrates power, fearless and femininity. Our 2 times Olympic gold medalist rider embodies it.
On the mountain – A collection thoughtfully designed for every woman and every moment on the mountain. From a product perspective, On the mountain will help to position ROXY as the leader in must-haves made for the winter & the mountains. A versatility of products to live the winter to the fullest. From a visual perspective, our unparalleled breath of styles ensure we meet the needs of all riders, women from different backgrounds, sizes & shapes who are all united by the ROXY spirit and their own love of the mountain.
ALOFTED PUFFY JK
A new oversized ski & snowboarder puffy jacket, #ALOFTED PUFFY JK. It’s a 15K waterproofing jacket with a DWR PFC free treatment. The Jacket is versatile from the slopes to the street, due to its look and functionalities have been thought that way with for example, the snow gaitor that is removable. The insulation is branded Primaloft. We have seamlessy integrated the Hydrosmart technology into the collar which is a unique technolgy to Roxy. A 100% organic & eco-certified skincare encapsulated in the garment & released when worn, soothing the ski
Steeply PT
A new relaxed fit baggy pant in the bottom of our price pyramid. It’s a 10K/ 10K product for waterproofing & breathability. The look is so cool and the product is functional with waist adjusters back and front hands pockets. Hem adjustment with elastic bungee cords are finishing the look at the bottom leg
WILD TWIST JK:
A new feminine freeride jacket. The jacket is internally baffled to provide warmth & comfort but keeping a clean external look. The Jacket is 15K waterproofing with a DWR PFC free treatment. The shell fabric is stretch to give full ease of movement. The snow gaitor is 3D shaped stretch to be ergonomic. The insulation is branded Primaloft. And we also offer the hydrosmart technology into the collar.
