What trends are you noticing in boardsport protection for 2024?
Helmets with Brims. We developed our Lifer Brim Helmet to meet the trend.

What are your main price points for next season in helmets, pads, protectors?
Base model half Shell helmets like our Lifer start at $80.00 and go all the way up to $90 for special color ways, graphic and pro models.

How is skate participation developing and how important is protection to new riders?
Less beginners now since the pandemic surge to get outdoors and try new things like skateboarding and roller skating. Now there is more an emphasis on pro level gear for the Lifers.

What are your main stories in terms of protective technologies for 2024?
Fusion Foam comes in all our Lifer models which is our propriety blend of EPS foam that is soft enough to pass multi- impact testing and hard enough to pass high impact certifications. How are you communicating safety certification and is it a must-have?
The idea that we are still talking about non-certified helmets being available on the market is disappointing and speaks to the larger issue of cooperate greed where certain companies prioritize sales over the safety and overall well-being of the human race. There is no place for these types of helmets, and I encourage consumers to look at the companies making these helmets and question if we can trust anything they produce.

Do your protection products cross over into other sports?
All our Products are muti sport or multi discipline.

What helmet designs are trending (full helmets/ lighter models)? All the S1 Lifer helmets models have been trending for years.

What are trending styles in pads and gloves?
S1 Pro Pads are the best designed and highest quality products on the market and currently trending.

Which technical features are you the most proud of in your protective gear?
S1 Fusion Foam which is in every S1 Lifer helmet produced, RAD Sizing Liners which are our shock reducing sizing liners that reduced impact energy 9 to 16% on average which is a very significant reduction and our new Lifer Brim Helmet which keeps the sun out of your eyes!

Retro Lifer E-Helmet:
This is the S1 Retro E-Helmet which is certified to the new NTA 8776 standard and is rated for speeds up to 28 mph.
