KEY PRODUCT FOCUS: What are the top three most important products of next year’s line, and why? Please tell us about them, and what makes them the highlights.
Slab.one – top of the line binding featuring a new highback.
Brotherhood multi-entry – the multi-entry version is now also available for the top-selling binding
.

Mountain multi-entry – new highback and multi-entry version available.

Which new materials are you using in your bindings?
We were able to improve UV colour stability on TPU and PA plastic parts. Having our own production plant reduces lead time when it comes to resin testing.

Please tell us about the dominant colour themes in next year’s binding line?
Black & grey

Prices: Where is your brand going? Higher? Lower?
Our prices are remaining at the same level as prior years. 120EUR – 340 EUR retail

Any new ideas in buckles, straps, highbacks, bases?
We are introducing a new high back that has been optimized for our Fastec system. It has an aluminium reinforced heel area. This achieves more board control yet maintains comfort and flexibility in the upper section of the highback. The design of the lower section improves exiting the binding and avoids possible catching the outsole when reclining the highback.

Going for an easy-in, easy-out solution next year? If so, are you licensing or developing it yourself?
We only have easy-in, easy-out solutions, however, we are introducing our multi-entry bindings to more price points. These allow our Fastec bindings to be used like classic strap-in bindings.
