Stay Safe In The Backcountry With Jones SAFETY SHRED
Last December, the Jones snowboard team head into the mountains to refresh and develop their avalanche rescue skills. The new Jones SAFETY SHRED video provides a look into last year’s trip with segments that cover mock rescue scenarios and information on how to conduct a rescue while prioritising the casualty’s safety. The trip wasn’t all work and no play; the team got in a fair few days worth of shredding too.

December is the perfect month for taking the time to focus on avalanche and rescue skills so your confident in your knowledge for the rest of the season. In December 2019, Jeremy Jones and the Jones team got together at a Tahoe backcountry hut for a couple dawn-to-dark days of splitboarding and sharpening their avalanche rescue skills. Our new Safety Shred video shares highlights from the training course including informative rescue scenarios and inspiring backcountry shredding.
