Please tell us about your innovations for 2024?
This year is a very exciting year for Suntribe, in our zinc range we have added a new color to the portfolio, and we now supply 5 different natural zinc colors in 3 different packagings. In our liquid sunscreen range we’ve added our first pure sport SPF 50 sunscreen. The Suntribe innovation is centered around simplicity in sunscreen. Rather than trying to make one sunscreen product to work for everyone, we create a range of both zinc and liquid sports focused products to work for every sporting situation from surfing to skiing.
What are the main ingredients you are using and how do you address sustainability/eco friendliness in your products?
Since day one Suntribe has been fully focused on making the most natural and minimalistic zinc products on the market. Today our zinc range consists of formulations with 4 natural ingredients (Coconut oil, bee’s wax, zinc oxide, and the natural coloring), making them stand-out products from an eco point of view. To top it off all our packaging is made from recycled materials. With Suntribe the idea from the beginning was always to make no-compromise “worry-free” products, you always know what you’ll get: Natural formulas and responsible packaging.
Please tell us about your marketing campaign for 2024?
Suntribe works with a close team of ambassadors and team riders to promote the brand in the extreme sports area. This year our marketing will be centered around a group of talented board riders within wave surfing and kite surfing.
How is your product relevant for the boardsports industry? Do you specifically target action sports clients?
Suntribe specifically develops ranges of products just for the boardsports industry. As our team consists of many passionate surfers, it became natural that we would focus on creating high performing natural products for extreme sports use. We have a team of surfing instructors and professionals around the world which are the first line of testing for any new Suntribe products, this way we ensure that the products always work for the core group of extreme sporterts.
What other benefits, apart from sun protection, does your product offer?
All Suntribe products are developed to contain only ingredients that make sense for the purpose of the product. We see sun protection as a holistic form of skin care, so in that line of thinking our products are made to protect the skin from more than just UV rays. All our products have hydrating capabilities and our more cosmetically focused products are focused on more advanced skin care such as anti-aging. Another great benefit of Suntribe zinc products is the value, our sticks & tins in general have about twice the size of the competitors for the same price point.

Suntribe has the most comprehensive range of sport focused sunscreen and zinc products. With our range of zinc sun sticks, larger zinc tins, mini-tins, and high performance SPF 50 liquid formulas, we supply both the PoS and the variety to attract anything from hardcore surf teachers to 1 week holiday makers.
