THIRTYTWO MENS OUTERWEAR F/W 2025/26 PREVIEW

Retail Buyers Guide:  Mens Outerwear F/W 2025/26 Retail Buyer’s Guide
Brand:  32
Interviewee: Susanne Dachgruber, ThirtyTwo Apparel Merchandise Director

How was the men’s snow outerwear market in 24?
We received a good response from retailers on the ThirtyTwo outerwear collection, and prebook quantities for ThirtyTwo were up in Europe and flat domestically for 2024.  It is currently early November, and there has been snowfall in several regions with resorts already opening.  Early snowfall and resort opening often leads to sell through, and we are hoping for the best.

What is the overall theme behind your 2025/26 outerwear range? From which big trends do you take your inspiration?
ThirtyTwo always draws inspiration from the team as it is truly a rider-driven snowboarding brand!  That being said, the team brought us a lot of inspiration from streetwear for the 2025/2026 season. Minimal and lightweight are also trends that inspired the line for next season. For 2025/2026 the TM Recycled Jacket and TM Recycled Pant are pieces that speak to the theme of the line.  These jackets and pants are made of 100% recycled 4-way stretch fabric with 20k waterproofing and breathability, will be offered in signature colorways for these five team riders:

  • Pat Fava, Cement Jacket and Pant
  • Austin “Vizz” Visintainer, Off White Jacket and Off White Pant
  • Phil Hansen, Brick Jacket and Tobacco Pant
  • Toni Kerkela, Black Jacket and Black Pant
  • Joey Fava, Camo Jacket and Camo Pant

The Light Anorak and Sono XLT Pant both speak to the lightweight inspiration of the line.  These are JP Walker’s signature pieces in black/yellow.  JP’s and other riders’ input led to ThirtyTwo’s extended elastic cuff on the pants.

What new fits / silhouettes are coming out in 2025/26? What pant and jacket styles are most important in your range?
One of the new fits and silhouettes that ThirtyTwo is launching for 2025/2026 is the boxy fit, which is a throwback to the 90s. This new-again boxy fit is being offered on a 32 Classic Windbreaker, the Introvert Jacket and our Corduroy Jacket. The most important jacket and pant styles in our range are the signature rider pieces. For 2025/2026 this includes the relaxed fit TM Recycled Jacket and loose-fitting TM Recycled Pant, as well as the relaxed fit JP Walker Light Anorak and Sono XLT Pant I mentioned earlier. We also have a Chris Grenier’s Signature TM Recycled Patch jacket and loose fitting Blahzay Cargo. Scott Steven’s influence is always important to the ThirtyTwo collection and for 2024 he has the relaxed fitting Lashed Jacket in cement and the Sweeper pant.

What new colour’s / prints are you introducing?
We are excited about the new late 90s story and camo prints in the ThirtyTwo 2025/2026 collection. The late 90s story includes the primary colors what were staples in that era. These yellows and blues can be seen on jackets and pants throughout the collection. A few pieces really highlighting it are the 32 Classic Windbreaker, the Grasser Jacket and JP’s Light Anorak and Sono XLT Pant. ThirtyTwo went deep on camo for the season. The brand is offering a custom tree camo on several pieces, classic woodsman camo and a tribal 90s inspired camo on the Corduroy collaboration jacket and pant.

Any *NEW* technical stories with regards to fabrics and materials?
A technical fabric story is that ThirtyTwo is utilizing 100% recycled 4-way stretch fabric. A 3L version of this fabric is featured on the TM-3 Recycled Jacket, TM-3 Recycled Bib and TM-3 Recycled Pant. We used a 2L version of the material on the TM Recycled Patch Jacket, the TM Recycled Jacket and the TM Recycled Pant.

Any trends that your brand is moving away from?
There are a few trends that ThirtyTwo is moving away from for next season. Just the same way the trends we are jumping into are rider-driven, ThrityTwo is sliding away from the ultra baggie fit due to rider input. ThirtyTwo is also moving away from tailored gender specific fits, and we see this as a trend that our riders will continue to request.
