UK Skate Brand HAVE A GD TRIP Collaborates With Artist Zara Tisma

UK-based skate company HAVE A GD TRIP has collaborated with artist Zara Tisma for the first in a series of product drops where proceeds go to The Neighbourly Foundation, who maintain the health and happiness of communities.

Formed by a group of new dads in 2020, HAVE A GD TRIP set out to provide an escape from the grind of the pandemic, with most of the crew not having skated for 15+ years. Artist Tisma’s art seen in the first collection depicts Hitchin Market, where the group first started skating back in 2020. Available in four different colourways, the tees go on sale for £30 on January 28th at www.haveagdtrip.com.

Liam Klimek, Director of HAVE A GD TRIP: “I feel like the world’s become so much smaller since the pandemic began – and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s allowed us to get to know so many more great people who live in our neighbourhood; the family next door, the coffee shop manger, the market stall owner. The past two years has given us time to look around us and embrace the accessible lifestyle that we lead now. It’s and inspiring and that’s what this collection is about.”

“To be able to work with longtime friend Zara on the drawing for the first launch in this series has made it all the more special. Zara’s artwork on the back of the limited edition tee depicts our local market spot in Hitchin, one of the first places us dads went to skate when we first got back on our boards. We felt this was a fitting image to illustrate, as it’s a cornerstone for our community and has been since the Roman times. Although I’m not sure if they skated it…”
