Scotland’s Wavegarden Cove project has been greenlit, which will see Craigpark Quarry near Ratho, Edinburgh play host to Wavegarden’s most innovate wave type in an interesting man-made wave pool arms race currently underway between the proven business model of Wavegarden Vs KS Wave Co. The £10m project in Scotland has been designed by landscape architects HarrisonStevens, with engineering and technical consultation provided by WSP, and planning and development advice by Colliers International. As per the Wavegarden business model, the site will also play home to surf school, self-catering luxury guest lodges, a waterfront café and restaurant, retail spaces and new for Edinburgh, the site will also house a snow-sports training jump.
