OVERALL
How was last season in the snowboard market?
Last season was fairly challenging in the snowboard market. Many retailers had difficulty in moving product, but we are seeing a change in trends as we move through the 24/25 season.
With the recent overall price increases, have there been any positive developments in manufacturing, sourcing, or logistics?
Unfortunately no, prices will likely increase again as the political situation in the US and proposed tariffs begin to roll out.
What are the major trends you’re seeing with product pricing in the snowboard market?
We’re seeing a tough struggle between helping the industry move remnant inventory from last year which is forcing a discount while the manufacturing costs are increasing and forcing a hike in prices.
E-commerce Vs. physical retail, how are you balancing both channels?
We’ve doubled down on our grassroots efforts as we still see engaged retail as a very important part of the market.
How are you supporting retailers to sell this category?
This season, we’ve brought on additional outside sales reps to help support retailers in different regions through product clinics, shop visits, sales support, etc. Additionally, as we try to move through the economic uncertainty, we’ll be holding about 50% of the line as carry over graphics for the 25/26 season.
What unique brand messages are you focusing on for the 2025/2026 snowboard season?
In 25/26 we’ll be aiming to make our line more viable to more people. The Ridgeline and Riva will be consolidating into one model under the Gnarnia with expanded size runs to create a more unisex approach. The same will be happening under the Rise and Range as they combine under the Dream Machine.
SNOWBOARD SPECIFIC
What trends or developments are you seeing with regards to board construction, shapes, and general innovation? How is this shaping your 25/26 range?
Aside from consolidating two of our more popular models under a unisex line, no new major innovations here.
Anything new concerning sustainability and related products or construction you would like to highlight?
We are extremely proud to be one of the very few B-Corp certified snowboard brands in the industry. B Corp Certification is a designation that a business is meeting high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency on factors from employee benefits and charitable giving to supply chain practices and input materials. In order to achieve certification, a company must: Demonstrate high social and environmental performance by achieving a B Impact Assessment score of 80 or above and passing our risk review. Multinational corporations must also meet baseline requirement standards. Make a legal commitment by changing their corporate governance structure to be accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders, and achieve benefit corporation status if available in their jurisdiction. Exhibit transparency by allowing information about their performance measured against B Lab’s standards to be publicly available on their B Corp profile on B Lab’s website.
Are you using any new materials in your hardware for 25/26? If so, what and why? We’re interested in anything new in inserts / edges / cores / sidewalls / glue / resin/ wood types / base material / top sheet / wax / etc..
No new materials.
Any new design or pattern approaches in your 25/26 gear? Any collabs on the line?
We’ll be carrying over most of the 24/25 line, but with refreshed artist style collabs with John Fellows on the Gnarnia and Dream Machine.
Are you planning to focus on a special product range or type of customers? What’s your newest range?
We have brought one of our more freestyle/park oriented models, the Logger, back into the lineup.
key/hero models for 2025/26.
Gnarnia – The unified and souped up version of the Ridgeline and Riva, this board will now feature our S-Weave Carbon to increase energy and longevity of the board’s pop as well as a slight bump in stiffness. This will be our go to freeride model.
Dream Machine – The unified version of the Range and Rise, this board will be remaining the same in construction but will open up expanded size runs that should cater more broadly to smaller men, taller women, etc. This will be our go-to All-Mountain Directional Twin.
Logger – The return of a staple in Colorado logging culture returns to the lineup. A flat profile with added S-Weave Carbon stringers to add pop and responsiveness to the board makes for the perfect park or frontside all-mountain option. This will be our go-to Freestyle Truel Twin.
